The Super Eagles of Nigeria have dropped one spot on the latest
rankings for football playing nation released by FIFA.
Nigeria is now ranked 36th in the world but retained its 5th position
on the continent.The elephants of Cote d’Ivoire are the best team in Africa despite dropping one spot to become 19th in the world.
Ghana are in second on the continent followed by the desert foxes of Algeria who climbed up six spots and are now 28th in the world while the Eagles of Mali are in fifth position.
Cape Verde Islands, Tunisia, Egypt, Burkina Faso and Cameroun make up the African top 10 in that order.
